Wondering if I should go to a craft store or a quilting one for fiberfill and maybe safety eyes.

Project Thinglet Update

It turns out Michaels completely beats Jo-Ann in the yarn department. I made the poor decision to take my acquisitions outside to photograph them in the sunlight while letting Claude run around.

He ran off with the eyelash yarn skein and then went back for the green worsted weight one (he's just dropped it to try playing with it while I'm rolling up the pale blue yarn in the above picture).

He is ridiculous. At least he didn't attempt to unravel it. This clearly wasn't going to work. One picture of the second yarn outside and I was more than ready to put those back in my bag and continue on our walk…

I'm considering pairing this with plain white for the hair.

I'm really happy to have found a suitable shade of green.

Why is it that there seems to be genuine dearth of green yarn in craft shops? I'm looking for lime green. Online, this seems to be the perfect option.

However, in store, it's a different matter entirely. Frustrating. There's apparently a local yarn shop, but those tend to have obscure or high-end offerings.
